Food Journal Wednesday, September 5

Breakfast
2 scoops protein with 12 ounces water
hot flax cereal

Lunch
Confession: it says 'leftover broccoli and steak' in my notes but I neglected to write down what this meal was leftover from.  I'm sure that I heated something up in a skillet at work and that it was delicious.
I do remember that I used the last of the creamy garlic sauce on top of whatever it was.

Snack
I love these low carb tortillas.  They are a staple of my
low carb diet.  They're sold in the deli section of my
grocery store, next to all the designer cheese.

  1. I'll have to see if I can find those tortillas. I've been using Ole's Xtreme High Fiber tortillas... they are really tastey and not dry at all and run 5g net carb but are a bit pricey at $3.39 for 8.

  2. I haven't tried those, but I have tried the Flat Out tortillas and they are also delicious. It's true that 'gourmet' tortillas tend to be a little bit more expensive. You can generally find these at Costco for a little big less, or I have ordered them from Amazon before. I don't like to do that in the hotter months because I don't like the idea of a box of tortillas sitting on my doorstep all day, but now that it's getting cooler I will resume purchasing some of my low carb products online.
