Food Journal Friday, October 5

Breakfast
low carb tortilla stuffed with:
1 Tbsp sugar free jelly
2 eggs scrambled with pepper
1 slice American cheese

Lunch
leftover Chicken Broccoli Pasta Alfredo
strawberry carb control yogurt

Dinner
(went to happy hour at Union Jack's with some friends)

  • I am always on the lookout for a low carb happy hour.  One of the problems with happy hour is that restaurants want to offer cheap appetizers and those usually happen to be carb heavy (nachos, soft pretzels, spinach dip with chips, mozzarella sticks).  Union Jack's offers several low carb friendly food options, rail drinks, and several light beers.  If you're low carbing in Howard County, this is a great place to go.  

3 vodka with soda water and 2 lime wedges
mussels in tomato sauce
7 wings buffalo sauce
blue cheese, celery sticks
2 fried pickles with ranch dressing

Snack
1/2 C carb control ice cream with strawberry slices

Water
80 ounces

none today
